EurAsia Matures into Must-Visit Spot in Oak Hill

EurAsia Sushi Bar & Seafood

My first impression of EurAsia Sushi Bar & Seafood was to wonder what an Indonesian restaurant was doing at a shopping center at the Y in Oak Hill.

Aside from the fact that it it has lovely ambiance and is very inviting, it’s really less of an Indonesian restaurant than an amalgam of European and Asian seafood dishes.

And there’s the beauty of it: all the dishes on the menu work together wonderfully, be it the Bakso Sapi Pho (said to a favorite of Barack Obama) or the delightful grouper in a zesty kala sauce. And the sushi and sashimi also work well, along with cooked dishes like the Gyoza.

I can’t get enough of EurAsia and they are literally rewriting the book on what constitutes creative cuisine in southwest Austin.
