Il Forte is a charming little Italian restaurant on 8th between Brazos and Congress. It is run by an ingratiating Italian gentleman named Cesar Navarri.

He and his wife Renata along with chef Giovanni have created quite a restaurant: enough for them to make our recent Top Ten List of best new Austin places. He’s still working on his English but he has the food down cold! Enjoy
