First Dinner at Vince Young Steakhouse Very Encouraging

We had dinner at Vince Young Steakhouse on Saturday night. It was our first full meal at the recently opened restaurant at 3rd and San Jacinto. The place was almost full and it seats a goodly number of diners.

The dinner was quite good. I had the Charcuterie Platter that featured Duck Prosciutto, House Made Sausage, and other delights. Marge tried the Butternut Squash Soup with Duck Confit which was rich and delicious. I had the Boneless Rib Eye medium rare plus which was beautifully marbled and cooked exactly as I preferred. It was as tender as a good rib eye should have been and was devoured. Marge tried the House Pasta Selection which on that night happened to be Ravioli stuffed with goat cheese and blue crab. It was rich and delightful.

We tried the Raspberry Sorbet for dessert. It was a bit more dense and creamier than most sorbets and had a very rich flavor which we both enjoyed.

We’ll try again in a few more weeks and then look for a review if all goes well. But very optimistic after the first visit.
